Prison Ministry

"God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity…"(Psalm 68:6)

“Then the righteous will answer Him…… ‘When, did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?’ ‘The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of mine, even the least of them, you did it to me.’(Mathew 25:37)

The merciful and father heart of God has been our guiding principle to visit Thane Central Jail twice a month on Saturdays. We believe that it is a mandate by Jesus Christ our Lord. This is a church initiative and members of the church are encouraged to visit along with those that minister to the inmates.

Praise and worship followed by a short message is the regular practice. Many souls have been saved and it is a great joy to see the hope that lights up in the eyes of these who are lonely.

We also pray for individual needs at times and we believe that God will show Himself strong with signs and wonders and we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people and society as a whole.
